Changing residency from AZ to NV for remote work

I'm currently a resident of Arizona and own a home there.

I am thinking of taking a new job but the employer isn't registered with AZ for tax withholdings.

If I were to rent a place in Nevada, become a resident there, and keep my AZ property, could I work out of that house for less than 60 days of the year without needing to file AZ taxes?

I'm assuming the time wouldn't count towards weekends, holidays, etc., when I'm not working.

Would I need to report that in TurboTax?

It appears you will have to file taxes with Arizona (AZ) as a nonresident. For 2023, it may be a part year resident.

Arizona nonresidents and part year residents:

As for out-of-state residents who worked in Arizona, individuals have to file a tax return reporting any income earned in the state that exceeds the amounts listed on the filing requirements stated in the instructions of the Arizona income tax returns. Individuals who do not meet these filing requirements, but have Arizona income tax withheld from their earnings, will have to file an Arizona return to obtain a refund of the withholding tax paid.

Nevada (NV) has no income tax.
