Americorp W-2 state reporting

My son moved from MA to WI in November, he is doing a year of volunteering with Americorp Volunteers In Service To America (Govt Agency). He has W-2's from MA & Washington DC do I have to list him as earning money from 2 states?  There are only state taxes taken out from MA.

Perhaps, if your son earned money while working in Wisconsin, he may have to file a Wisconsin state tax return.  If he never worked in DC or had other DC income he would not have to file a DC return.  He would have to file a Massachusetts return.  In general, you must file a tax return in the residence state, so if he relocated to Wisconsin permanently, he you use Part-Time resident status on WI and MA.
