592B form causes california filing rejection

I received a 592b form from my real estate property manager showing some withheld amounts last year.

Entered this info both in the federal section and California state section. In federal section I entered it under Estimates and Other Taxes Paid -> California. In California state section I entered it under Real Estate Withholding and entered all the relevant info in the 592b form (withholding agent name, address, FEIN, phone#). Pretty much following the instructions laid out here: https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/taxes/discussion/if-i-have-a-592-b-how-do-i-file-that-through-turbotax/00/2709848#M974295

All the validations pass and I submit both federal and state. The federal filing is accepted, but state is rejected with the following description: /CA-Return/CA-ReturnData/CAForm592B/WithholdingAgent/USAddress - Your California return could not be processed electronically due to incomplete or invalid information on Form 592-B. The Withholding Agent ID is required.

I went back to the 592b form and triple checked that all fields in Withholding Agent Information section is filled except for SSN/ITIN (this field MUST be blank otherwise validation fails). Refiled but same error.

Can someone help?

California can't match your form.  You're going to have to mail your return with a copy of your 592B.

Or you will need to call the California FTB to straighten this out before you can efile.  (which will likely result in California telling you to mail the return, frankly)

I recommend mailing it but if you want to try calling here is the contact info for the CA FTB.

Thank you Robert! @RobertB4444

This makes sense. The property manager made a mistake and only created/sent me the 592B on Feb.16. I filed California on Feb.17, so perhaps FTB's system hasn't reflected the info sent by property management yet.

I'll try waiting a bit before refiling, and if that doesn't work mail it as suggested.

Updating to close the thread:

After waiting another week I tried filing again without changing any contents, and it was finally accepted. My guess (pure speculation) is that the issue was waiting for FTB to get the 592B filing synchronized into their system, due to late filing from my property management.
