When running check, these errors come up with the "Federal Information Worksheet". "Part III - Dependent/Earned Income..." is totally blank
Today's update broke the software & is causing this. They're aware of and working on fixing the problem, but until they do, it is not going to work. Best suggestion is just stop trying to e-file until they get it fixed. Honestly, there is no telling what else they broke. See link below:
https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/4196627Got the same message when running check after updating latest files in TurboTax. Prior to that I did not have this message. I am not filing for any child tax credit.
Realize it is their software as I got the same message when trying to file my sister's return. I assume Intuit will notice the problem and fix the software. At least it's early in the year!
I am having the same issue and it's really annoying given what we pay for this software and that we have to wait ungodly amounts of time for it to constantly update each time the software is opened. PLEASE FIX THIS GLITCH!!!!!!!!!!
I'm getting the same error....it's really annoying and I've already paid for the efile so they better update it quickly.
Same as above for me. This blows! Waste of time trying to fix it on my end. FIX THIS GLITCH quickly or I will use HR software next year.
Same problem here. I have been banging my head trying to figure this damn thing out!
I just posted a potential workaround here: <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/4198384-what-if-worksheet-re-child-tax-credit-earned-income-credit-error-if-you-are-not-claiming-the-eic-i-have-found-a-workaround">https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/4198384-what-if-worksheet-re-child-tax-credit-earned-income-credit-error-if-you-are-not-claiming-the-eic-i-have-found-a-workaround</a>
