Why did I receive a 1099-nec for a loan from the sba?

I don't know what the "sba" is but ask them why they sent it to you.

SBA is the abbreviation for Small Business Administration.

IRS extensions for tax year 2021 must be filed on or before April 18, 2022 for domestic taxpayers.

Keep in mind: An extension doesn't give you extra time to pay your taxes — but it will keep you from getting a late filing penalty.

The SBA is the Small Business Administration. 

A 1099-NEC is money you received for self-employed income for performing a service for which you got paid .   It has nothing to do with loans.
