Starting a single member LLC business 2022

Hello,

I started a side business set up as a single member LLC. Now that I have an EIN number, what are my options for filing personal and business taxes? As I have a full time job.

Hello Tytea,

With your side business you will report all your income and expenses on a schedule C. Being a single member LLC is treated as being a sole proprietor for tax purposes. When you are filling out the schedule C you will see a place to put you LLC nae and EIN. The schedule C gets filed with your normal tax return and the net profit/loss goes to the 1040.
