Should my spouse and I make joint quarterly payments? We are both self-employed and filed jointly for the first time for 2021.

We previously paid quarterly taxes separately.

You can make joint estimated payments. You don't assign what pays for what on the tax return. It all goes to pay any tax liability, no matter the source.
