self-employed marketing expenses

I am in my second year operating a business as a sole proprietorship with no employees.  I provide professional consulting services and do not buy or sell any product.  My question concerns marketing expenses.  From reading IRS publications, I see how I can deduct many, but not all, direct marketing expenses.  However, there seems no way to deduct the value of my marketing time, in effect billing myself at my standard billing rate.  Is there any way to deduct the value of my marketing time?

No, you cannot deduct the value of the time you spend promoting, marketing, or advertising your business as a sole proprietor.
