I don't have a Copy A of 1099-NEC. Does the Summary form 1096 replace the old way of filing my 1099-NEC's?

I only have two contractors for tax year 2021. But I see that I filed a 1099-NEC Copy A along with the 1096 last year.

It is to be found on the red sheet that comes in the package. It is an IRS form . . . therefore, not one of the black and white ones.
