I am a vendor at an antique shop. should I receive a 1099-MISC for my vendor sales at the antique/consignment shop.

Instructions to Form 1099-MISC state that box 3 (Other Income) is usually for prizes, awards, taxable damages, etc. Form 1099-NEC is issued for services provided. Neither of these forms falls under the sale of merchandise. 

 

Moreover, Sec. 6041-3(c) states that no 1099 should be issued for merchandise. So to answer your question, the antique shop may issue you a 1099 but they are not required to. And really shouldn't be issuing it.
