How to report Other Misc income on Schedule 1?

I'm in Self Employment loop trying to enter misc income. Where is schedule1??

If you received a 1099, then you need to answer the questions following the input of the 1099 so it flows to Other Income, rather than a Schedule C.

 

If you received a 1099-NEC:

  1. Open your return. 
  2. Search for 1099-NEC with the magnifying glass tool at the top of the page.
  3. Click on the Jump to 1099-NEC link at the top of the search results. 
  4. Edit your 1099-NEC. 
  5. Continue past the information entered. 
  6. Describe the reason for the 1099-NEC.
  7. On the screen Does one of these uncommon situations apply? answer This is not money earned as an employee or self-employed individual, it is from a sporadic activity or hobby (this is not common).

If you received a 1099-MISC:

  1. Search for 1099-misc and select the Jump-to link.
  2. Edit your 1099-MISC.
  3. Continue past the amounts already entered.
  4. Describe the reason for this 1099-MISC.
  5. Answer Does one of these uncommon situations apply?
  6. Answer Did this involve work that's like my main job?
  7. Answer How often did you get this income?
  8. Answer Did this involve an intent to earn money?
  9. Answer the remaining on-screen questions.

To enter Other Income (in the situation where no 1099 was received), please follow the steps below:

  1. Open your return.
  2. Click on Federal Taxes.
  3. Go to Wages & Income
  4. Scroll to the bottom under Less Common Income select Start (or Update) for Miscellaneous Income.
  5. Choose the appropriate category and enter your Other Income

Lastly, please delete any Schedule C that was populated by following the instructions below:

  1. Search for Schedule C with the magnifying glass tool on the top of the page.
  2. Select the Jump to Schedule C link in the search results.
  3. If you get to a self-employment summary screen, delete the self-employment income line with the trash can icon.
  4. If you get to the question Did you have any self-employment income or expenses? answer No
  5. Click on Tools.
  6. Click on Delete a Form
  7. Scroll down to your Schedule C and Schedule SE and click Delete
