Filing separate from Spouse. who enters CA Franchise 1099-Misc?

Divorcing from my spouse. We are filing both separate as Head of Household (each one is claiming one child). We received a 1099-MISC from California Franchise Tax board for the CA tax credit. Do we split this in half or how do we enter it?

You do not need to enter or report the 1099Misc for the CA Middle Class Tax Refund.  It is not taxable.  Just keep the 1099Misc in your records with a copy of your tax return.

When filing taxes as Head of Household, each of you may be entitled to claim one child as a dependent. However, splitting the 1099-MISC income from the California Franchise Tax Board may depend on the nature of the income and the divorce agreement.
