Can we deduct ACA premiums if my husband is entirely self employed & I am partially self-employed? The instructions say we can "link the 1094a to schedule C"... but how?

We file jointly.

As self-employed people, you can deduct the ACA premiums as self-employed health deduction.

To link your form 1095-A to your Schedule C:

  1. After entering your form 1095-a, follow the interview until you arrive at a page asking Let us know if these situations apply to you
  2. Select I'm self-employed and bought a Marketplace policy
  3. On the next screen, select the business associated with the plan
  4. TurboTax will transfer the amount to Part II line 17 of Schedule 1 of form 1040 (self-employed health insurance deduction).
