Why is TurboTax telling me my Roth IRA contributions for 2024 are in excess with my contribution being under $2,000 for the year? Started the Roth IRA in March of 24'.

MAGI is 90k, which am I receiving what seems to be an error and not allowing me to include my taxed contributions?

Did you have an excess Roth IRA contribution in previous years that was applied to 2024? If you did, you have to take this into account when determining your contribution amounts for this year.

Also, if filing as:

married filing separately and you lived with your spouse at any time during the year, allowed contribution is zero

Please check Opus 17 response for information on how to withdraw any excess contributions.
