In prior year's software, the PA retirement income didn't get taken out until you started thru the PA Q&A.
If it's the same this year, get all of your Federal entries in first, and when that's fully filled in (including any 1099-R and SSA-1099 forms). Then start thru the PA state questions, and the software will ask about your retirement income, and it gets removed from PA income at that time (assuming you are retired and not taking $$ early...not sure what age it starts for PA)
PA does not tax retirement income. What kind of retirement income did you enter---and where exactly in the software program did you enter it?

When you are going through your Pennsylvania return, you will get to a screen in which you have to indicate the type of retirement distribution you have from the drop down menu. Please choose a state type code from the list and continue through your return. If eligible, it will not be taxed on your Pennsylvania return.
