Why is TurboTax prompting me to check my qualified retirement plan as non-qualified? I checked Athene who issued the plan and they confirmed it is qualified.

If it is a Qualified Plan, you can indicate this in TurboTax.  Note: there are some questions that default in the interface- if you go to that entry, it will show as the default.
