The price of the software isn't a percentage of what you get back in a refund or the amount of any credit.   Your paying for the forms you need to properly file a complete and accurate return.  Don't want to pay, go elsewhere.

visit the IRS at https://www.irs.gov/filing/free-file-do-your-federal-taxes-for-free

to find truly free filing. Note that some include free state as well; that's important.
Otherwise, If you have to file a state return, and don't want to do that yourself, you will need software that you pay for.

.....and...the state software will bill you more $$.

IF, you want to continue to use TTX, but just decline the RSCC $60...

Then....you go thru the "Retirement Savings Contribution Credit" Q&A on the deductions & Credits page, and in there you indicate that you were a fulltime student during 2021....that should get rid of it, and no longer need to update ...at least not for that.

IF you end up entering something else that requires an update anyhow, you can always revisit the RSCC area and re-set it to not being a student (assuming that you weren't).
