Why does TT say I deferred some of my social security taxes last year when I didn't?

TT says I deferred some of my soc. security taxes last year and will get a W-2c because of this. But I did not defer any taxes. Did my employer do this without my knowledge? Will I need to submit an amended return when/if I receive a W-2c? And how does TT know this is happening?

Message sent in error because of a software bug - being corrected.

Obviously bug is still present, as none of my soc security tax was deferred. Very same percentage taken out last year as previous year! Thank you. Will wait to complete these to see if your bug error clears up.

I received same message about deferring some of my social security taxes, which I have NOT done?   I've used TT for 15 years.  This doesn't give me a warm fuzzy about accuracy...

Turbo Tax needs to get with the program and get this fixed.  Very frustrating to see that this is an ongoing issue yet even the messaging isn't corrected to reflex that this is a TT problem.  If I hadn't have looked this up I would have never known.
