Why does the program say I need to update my social security information, dividends and interest and capital gains. I have entered the information three times.

You could try logging out of the program and logging back in. You can also clear your cache and cookies.

You may also try using another browser.

It is possible some forms are not available yet. The Review section will tell you what forms are missing. You can use this tool to make sure all of your forms are available by clicking this link Federal Forms.

If you are using TurboTax Desktop, you can go to the gray bar on top of your screen and click on "Review" and it will walk you through any forms with errors on them step by step. ‌If you are using TurboTax Online you can scroll down to "Review" in the left panel to start this process.

Also, make sure that all updates have been run for your TurboTax program.
