Why does the IRS has the 2019 8606-S form on their website, but Turbotax has place my tax processing on hold for that same document?

While the IRS did recently released the form, it does take a few days for new versions of forms to be programmed into our software.

 

In addition, sometimes IRS e-file systems are not ready for forms at the same time that the paper forms are released.

The IRS site is the paper version of that for.  The electronic version is always 2-4 weeks behind the paper version.

Same here.  Turbo Tax is holding up my entire submission for this exact reason.  Come on TurboTax get it uploaded!

TurboTax  is waiting on the IRS to approve the new forms.  Estimated is 2/12.
