Why does it keep putting my Retirement Savings Contribution Fund at $5 when i don’t have a retirement contribution fund? I can not delete it

I keep trying to delete it and i’ll go in and add $0’s and it doesn’t work

It sounds like the "Saver's Credit" which would be on your W-2.

If you contributed through your paycheck and you don't want to pay for the TurboTax upgrade required, go to the Personal Info section and tell the program you are a student.

This will not affect your tax return (except that you won't get that $5 credit) but it will trick the program to not upgrade for the reason of the savor's credit.

Students can take the Saver's Credit.
