From time to time a form can not be imported.  This could have many reasons.  The simplest solution is to post it yourself.

To post a 1099-R

  • Login to your TurboTax Account
  • Click "Work on other tax breaks"
  • Click "Federal" from the left side of your screen
  • Click "Wages & Income" on the top
  • Scroll down and click "Start or Edit/Add" next to "IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R)"
  • Answer "Yes" to the question "Did You Have Any of These Types of Income?"
  • Click "I'll Type it Myself"
  • Choose "Form 1099-R, Withdrawal of Money from 401(k) Retirement Plans, Pensions, IRAs, etc."
  • Click "Continue"
  • From here TurboTax will walk you through entering your Form 1099-R

If it is from a Fidelity NetBenefits account....those haven't be importable for at least the last 13 years..

IN order for them to become available, the Fidelity Folks would have to specially-format them for tax import and somehow merge them into their consumer account logins.....or provide a separate differently named selection for importing...
