If you're having trouble entering Interest Income or Social Security benefits in TurboTax, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Correct Forms:
    1. Go to the "Income" section
    2. Ensure both 1099-INT (for interest income) and SSA-1099 (for Social Security benefits) are available. If so, skip to step 4. If not, go to step 2.
  2. Add Income:
    1. Scroll to the bottom of the income section and select "Add Income."
    2. Choose "Interest and Dividends" for 1099-INT.
    3. Choose "Social Security" for SSA-1099.
  3. Enter Information:
    1. Go back to the "Income" section.
  4. Enter Information:
    1. Click on the pencil icon next to each form (1099-INT and SSA-1099).
    2. Enter the required information for each form.

This should help you enter your Interest Income and Social Security benefits.
