Why am I asked to enter the state and zip code for a W-2 form when I do not have such a form? (I only have and use Form 1099-R because I am retired.)

Turbo Tax "identified two errors: no entry for state and zip code for W-2.  But I do not have a W-2, nor have I had one for the past 5 years that I have been using Turbo Tax.  Why is Turbo Tax suddenly indicating this to be an error when the W-2 Form is not applicable to me? I only have Form 1099-R.

Go to FORMS and Delete the W-2 form.   You may be able to tell from here where it came from.

You can also look under Wages & Income topic, and click on W-2 Income to see the entry.
