Which tax-tables could be used for the FICA terms?

My friend's last W-2 before his retirement year, was charged around 9% FICA (SSN + Medicare) over his $10000 annual income. Which tables could be used for his tax return to keep the 10% tax-rate for thsi tax-year 2025?

Thanks!

It depends. You may have to provide more clarity as to your question however some details are shown below.

  1. FICA rate for wages is 6.2% for social security and 1.45% for medicare which is a total of 7.65%. Maximum social security wages for 2025 is $176,100.
  2. Personal income tax rates change based on taxable income. Those rates can be viewed for 2025 using the link below.

Thank you so much for your help.

Is there a table number for his FICA tax return, if he has charity-donations and social-service expenses?

For example, he often goes to a main-stream medical-center or church-service, and he pays for the transportation and medicine.

There is no FICA tax table it is just a flat 7.65% of the wages paid.

Are you trying to assist with a W-4 for withholdings?  We may be able to offer a bit more information if you can provide some context.

Thanks for your response.

I checked online there might be "Form 843" for this FICA term.

Do we have some other tables or options?

Usually W-4 does not work for FICA taxes, right?

Does 529 Plans work for the FICA taxes?

Thank you again, SusanY1.
