Where is the fund number found for American funds? It is not on the 1099-r

I'm trying to import my tax information from American Funds. I'm told to enter my fund number then a comma then the account number. I see the account number but not the fund number when looking at the 1099-r.  I can't get past the import tax screen unless I put this in.

A 1099R?

Don't enter the bank or broker name and don't try to import it.  It is just as fast and easy to manually enter it.  At the bottom pick -  Change How I enter my Form

Then on the next screen pick I'll Type it in Myself

You are not understanding what I'm saying. I know my account number. I do not know the fund number.

Look at my screenshot and you will see what I'm talking about for I highlighted what the field is asking for.

My 1099-r isn't telling my the fund number. I've logged into the my fund's website trying to find it and it isn't there either. Not sure what to do.

I understand what you said.  But I'm saying do not try to Import it.  Enter the whole 1099R manually.

Click on Change how I enter my form at the bottom.

I figured out a work around. I was able to upload the PDF of the 1099 and the system was able to get what I needed.
