Where does Turbo Tax request the RMD amount? I have an inherited IRA and beneficiary died in 2021. IRS Pub 590B says I need to take an RMD.

Turbo Tax just assumes that I have no RMD based on my age, but I think I have to satisfy an RMD in an inherited IRA

IRS has clarified that yearly RMDs are required on recently inherited IRAs under the 10-year rule only when the decedent died after their required beginning date for RMDs.

Thank you Fanfare,

The decedent did die after the required beginning date and she was born in 1927 so there should be an RMD.  There is no place to put that in the online Premium version of Turbo Tax

I called Turbo Tax and spoke to a CPA there who said it IS a mistake.
