Where do you enter state tax withheld on 403b withdrawal

I can't tell if it came into TurboTax from the Fidelity import.  The tax owed seems too high.

The withholding from your 403(b) withdrawal is reported in Box 12 of your Form 1099-R.  In most cases there is no state withholding on these types of distributions.

To go back to view your Form 1099-R, follow these steps:

  • Login to your TurboTax Account
  • Click "Take Me To My Return"
  • Click "Federal" from the left side of your screen
  • Scroll down and click "Start or Edit/Add" next to "IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R)"
  • Click "Edit" next to the 1099R for your 403(b) distribution
