To enter your 1099-R into TurboTax, go here

  • Federal Taxes (Personal if using TurboTax Self Employed or Home and Business)
  • Wages & Income (Personal Income in Self Employed or Home and Business)
  • You may need to click on Skip to see all income
  • Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
  • Click on Show More and then IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R)
  • Start

You will then be in the interview and TurboTax will guide you on how to enter your 1099-R

See below for more information about where to input your 1099-R

To enter your 1099-INT, go here:
    • Select Federal Taxes (Personal if using TurboTax Self-Employed or Home and Business)
    • Select Wages & Income (I'll choose what i work on)
    • You may need to click on Skip to see all income
    • Scroll down to Interest and Dividends
    • Click on Show more and then Interest on 1099-INT
    • Start or Update
