Where do I put in simple IRA contributions for tax deduction? Don't seem to see that option in the Deductions & Credits section. Only options are Traditional or Roth IRA

It depends on whether you're an employee or you're self-employed. If you're an employee, then you're simple IRA contributions have been included in box 12 of your W-2 beside code s. Please view this TurboTax FAQ for instructions on how to enter box 12 information from your W-2. If you're self-employed, then you enter your simple IRA contributions by following the directions below:

  1. Log in and open your return
  2. Type self-employed retirement into the search field (upper right screen)
  3. Click the Jump To link in the search results
