- Go to federal>deductions and credits
- Go to Retirement and Investments>Traditional and Roth IRA Contributions
- Scroll through the section and answer the questions. Eventually there will be a question that asks Any Nondeductible Contributions to Your IRA? Here you will say yes you made a tracked non-deductible contributions to your IRA
- Finish out the section. Whatever you record here will generate a 8606 in your return.
- Then there will be a question regarding if you wish to make this year's contribution non-deductible. (If you made one this year).
