The 1099-R is entered under the personal income tab in the Retirement Income & Social Security section. Make sure you select the correct sub-section. If you've already entered it and need to correct it, you will most likely find yourself in 1099-R hell. It's best to just delete the 1099-R entirely and re-enter it anew making sure you get it right the first time. Also, read the small print on each screen that will follow.
