When determining if my daughter can claim me since I live with her and it says my income must be under $4400. Does that include my RMD I received this year?

I am trying to determine if I can mark my taxes with my daughter claiming me on her taxes. I have less than the allotted $4400 income amount if I don’t have to claim my RMD. I can’t find information regarding this question. Thank you.

You must have less than $4400 of taxable income. Taxable income is whatever income you have that you pay taxes on. Withdrawals from IRAs and other qualified retirement plans are considered taxable income unless it is a Roth account.  Social Security is not taxable if it is your only income, but it may be taxable depending on the amount of other taxable income you have.
