When you Transmit your Tax Return you are sending it to the IRS from there it will be in the pending status. It will usually stay in Pending status for 24-48 hours before coming back as Accepted or Rejected. If Accepted it just means everything was found correct and nothing else is needed from you. If it comes back as Rejected it means that you need to make the corrections listed, and resubmit.

Its saying accepted 1/25 and transmitted 1/29 so im confused
Have you checked the Where's my Refund site. <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://www.irs.gov/refunds">https://www.irs.gov/refunds</a>
Yes it has had one bar since ive been accepted on 1/25
Great that's good news. I'm not sure why it will say Transmitted on 01/29 after it already has been Accepted on 01/25. Now you just have to wait until your refund says Approved. The time frame can vary.
I think this is a wide spread issue having the same problem
mine is now saying transmitted on the 28th of Jan, but accepted on the 23rd of Jan
what does it mean when saying transmitted? Does that mean something is wrong?
My turbotax saying pending and now im seing it saying your federal return has been transmitted do that mean im not getting my taxes. Im getting confused plz let me k something soon.
Sounds like TurboTax has some issues with reporting terminology.
To move the document form Sender to Receiver, it must be TRANSMITTED.
In general, ACCEPTED means the document is now in the hands of the Receiver.
REJECTED means the document is still in the hands of the Sender.
In the context of e-File, the document is your tax return.
