We have one 1099R source, two Social Security income statements sources, one small 1099DIV ($16), one small W-2 ($20), will 1040EZ work

A Form 1040EZ cannot be used to enter SS benefits or income from a 1099-R.  You would need the Form 1040A which is also supported by the Free edition.

The TurboTax tax preparation software will choose the correct federal form to use based on your tax data entries.
