We did not get a 1099. How do I correctly add this income in Turbotax?

My husband did some contracting work at the beginning of 2016. After repeated requests the company has not provided us with any forms. We know he made about $850 from this company. Can I add this information without the form? If so, how and where do I do this correctly in Turbotax?

Yes, you can add this as other income in TurboTax.

Please see the instructions below for entering Other Income:

1. Sign into you TurboTax account.
2. Click Pick up where I left off (if not already open)
3. Click Federal Taxes tab
4. Click Wages & Income
5. Select "Add more income" then click "See a list of all income"
6. Scroll all the way down to "Less Common Income" and click "Show more" to expand the list
7. Click Start/Update next to Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C
7. Click Start/Update next to "Other income not already reported on a Form W-2 or Form 1099" and follow the interview process to enter this income
