We did an RMD from an IRA Account, First Time, and there is no state information on the 1099-R. Is the RMD taxable in Virginia? Thanks, Ray

Virginia taxes the RMD the same as other retirement income but you do not have to indicate that it is RMD

Social Security retirement benefits are not taxed in Virginia. Other types of retirement income, such as pension income and retirement account withdrawals, are deductible up to $12,000 for seniors.
