We are longer going to operate our business under wife's EIN, we are still going to operate the business, We want to change the EIN to wife's Social. Is this possible

When i click edit under her EIN nothing happens. It looks like i have the ability to change the EIN to something else, but maybe the system isn't working? Do i have to delete this job and add a whole new schedule C job under the social security number?

You shouldn't need to delete the schedule C just because of an issue with your federal ID number. You should be able to edit your federal ID number by editing your business profile in TurboTax and on the screen that says Let's confirm your business info click on the Edit box next to Employer ID Number. The next screen should ask you if you have an Employer ID Number and if you answer "No" the federal ID number will be removed from your schedule C.

You can edit the EIN number and also indicate that you don't have an EIN number, but you can't change it to a social security number. The EIN number is used to identity your business and is separate from the social security number of the individual who owns the business. A sole-proprietor reporting income on a schedule C does not need a federal ID number, but may have one for various reasons. If you have notified the IRS that the number is to be cancelled, then you would file your schedule C without a federal identification number.
