Under income, if your IRA shows a loss, will that actually count as a loss when calcualting your AGI?

there has been no withdrawal of money from the IRA

Maybe you have an error if your IRA (line 15b of Form 1040) shows a negative amount?

If you have made no distributions from the IRA, you have not incurred a deductible loss.

i made a mistake and it was not my IRA account, but a regular account - thank you for answering!
