TurboTax Online will not accept Non-qualified plan when entering data from 1099R, Military Retired Pay. How long before a software update will be available? I have used TurboTax since 2013 and never had this problem.

Can you clarify what codes are in box 7? Is your distribution code in box 7 code 7 and D?  If so, please review the TurboTax article Why am I getting an error when entering Form 1099-R box 7 code 7D? for information.

My 1099-R has a "7" in Block 7. There is no other entry in this block.  Is Military Retirement Pay still a Non-qualified Plan?  Does Turbo Tax Online cover Non-qualified Plans?

I am using Turbo Tax Online "Do It Yourself".  Does that make a difference, and should I be using a different product from TurboTax?

I am having the same issue.  Another topic thread recommended deleting the 1099-R and re-entering it manually.  It still fails.  Unable to find a work around.  Review fails too.  When I get the box below, it seems like there is an option missing "No, it's another non-qualified plan"

When can I expect the software to be updated?

Thank you

How do I find which Turbo Tax "Product" covers Military Retirement Pay pension? This is a "NON-Qualified Plan".

Do I need to "Upgrade" to the TurboTax "Deluxe" version, and is it an online product?  Why can't I get an answer from Intuit Turbo Tax?

This issue has been fixed in  The most recent update of TurboTax Online. Now you can select Non-qualified plan, and file your return without error.
