Turbotax is asking for information not present on my 1099-R (payer's state/state #) and won't let me file without it. Also asking for wage info for taxes on retirement?

1.  If your payer has a website you may be able to find tax filing information in a section of that website. 2.  Do you have an account set up with that payer? lf so, your account section may have e-documents pertinent to taxes that you can look at. 3.  If you can telephone the payer, simply call and ask (I know, robots answer your call, but try hitting zero several time to get to a real person). 4. Go here and search for the payer's name as shown on the 1099-R: https://www.sec.gov/edgar/searchedgar/webusers.htm
