Turbotax imported SSA-1099 is $21,875 vs SSA-1099 benefit statement mailed to home is $21,885; $10 difference. What do I have to do?

You can make the adjustment to the entires made for your SSA-1099 by using the steps below to edit your SSA-1099 form. This form is not yet available for import so I'm assuming you entered the information for 2016 or you are looking at the data from 2015 that may have been transferred into your return.

You can go directly to the area to enter your information.

  1. Sign into your TurboTax account (online or desktop)
  2. Use the search box in the upper right
  3. Search for ssa1099
  4. Jump to ssa1099 (see image attached)
  5. Continue to make the proper entries
  6. Click the images to enlarge and view for assistance

What do you mean TT imported your SSA1099?

@TurboTaxDianeW   There is no way to import a SSA1099, right?  If there is, it is news to me!
