I am working on my 2024 tax returns on Turbotax desktop software. Been a longtime user of TurboTax.
For this year, as I work through, I might have to end up a paying small amount of tax to federal and state. To avoid having to pay taxes to federal and state, I was looking at how much I can put into traditional/roth IRA to get a refund. As mentioned in the subject line, I was in the IRA calculator tool which is under the Federal Taxes/Other Tax Situations. I walked through the process and entered an amount and picked Roth. Now I want to go back in and reset/restart and go through the IRA calculator and pick traditional IRA instead of ROTH. But, when I try doing that, it just says that I am done and it does not allow me to go through the process again.
How do I reset the IRA tool so I can work on another scenario? I do want to pick traditional IRA but ended up ROTH. How do I go through the process and pick traditional IRA?
