You use neither.

The Box 12 Code of D is Elective deferrals to a section 401(k) cash or deferred arrangement

The Box 12 Code of AA is Designated Roth contributions under a section 401(k) plan

Neither of those contributions are entered anywhere else on a tax return.

On your form W-2, box 12 code D reports your contributions to your 401(k) account.

Box 12 code AA reports your designated Roth contributions under a section 401(k) plan.

If you have entered your form W-2, you do not need to enter your contributions to your 401(k) plan or your Roth contributions anywhere else on your tax return.
