Tried to enter date of sale from Form 1099-B but it says "cannot be before 01/01/2019"--however the date I am entering is 05/16/19 - clearly after 01/01 so what's up?

05/16/19 is not acceptable.....

05/16/2019 Is proper, and the mm/dd/yyyy format was noted in the box, in grey, before you entered the date.
