The program is asking for W-2's. I have none; all my income is from IRSs and SS benefits. I wonder if the program will let me proceed. Will it?

Tell the W-2 screen that you have no W-2s.   Then enter your retirement income in other areas of the income section.

 

 Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security  (SSA1099 and 1099RRB) to enter your SSA1099.

 

 

To enter your retirement income, Go to  Federal> Wages and Income>Retirement Plans and Social Security>IRA  401 k) Pension Plan Withdrawals to enter your 1099R.
