You can buy the last 3 years of Turbo Tax here,

https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/

You will need a full Windows or Mac to install it on.

You better buy 2019 quick before they stop selling it when  they move 2022 to the prior year

Sorry looks like they already took off 2019.

If you have a simple return and want to file 2019 for free you can fill out the forms by hand.  Here are some basic forms.....

Here is the 2019 1040 return

or if you want bigger type use 1040SR for Seniors,

https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-prior/f1040s--2019.pdf

2019 Instructions https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-prior/i1040gi--2019.pdf

2019 EIC and Tax Tables https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-prior/i1040tt--2019.pdf

2019 Schedules 1-3

https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-prior/f1040s2--2019.pdf

https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-prior/f1040s3--2019.pdf

Don’t forget your state.  And you will have to print and mail your returns.  So be sure to attach copies of your W2s and any 1099s that have withholding on them.  You have to mail federal and state in separate envelopes because they go to different places.  Get a tracking number from the post office when you mail them for proof of filing.

And so you know---you are too late to get a refund for tax year 2019 even if your tax form shows a refund.   You have missed the deadline to get a 2019 refund and the IRS will just keep it.   However, if you owe tax due, you are subject to late penalties and interest.   TurboTax will "retire" the 2019 software very soon, so if you need to prepare 2019, do it asap

If you are getting a refund, there is not a penalty for filing past the deadline.  If you owe taxes, the interest/penalties will be calculated by the IRS based on how much you owe and when they receive your return and payment. The IRS will bill you for this; it will not be calculated by TurboTax.

@kgalegher - as the deadline to claim a refund for 2019 has already passed, do note that the deadline to claim a refund for the 2020 tax year is May 15, 2024 (3 years after the original filing deadline), unless you requested an extension back then and it was accepted, in which case the deadline to claim a refund is Oct 15, 2024.
