State taxes ask to enter "all other income". It lists VA benefits as an example. I get monthly VA compensation, do I need to report? I have never received a form from VA.

Yes, state credits and deductions often depend on your total income or total household income, whether the income is taxable or not.  It's not actually reported as income on the return, just used for specific calculations.  Just multiply your monthly benefit amount times the number of months you received it, 12 for the whole year.
