Someone 81 years old receiving social security retirement benefits, when is requirements to file taxes? Retirement 1073.76/yr ss 1254/m before medicare deductions.

Total of Social Security benefits and retirement is $16,121.76 before medicare deductions.  Also, this is in the State of Georgia.

If Social Security is your ONLY income you do not have to file a tax return.
