Should my Illinois return be $0 if i have no Illinois work income? I have a pension and social security but looks like that's just federal.

Illinois does not tax retirement income;  if you did not pay any IL tax or have IL tax withheld from your SS or pension you will not receive a refund from IL.   Did you pay any property tax on a home you own in IL?   If so, did you enter it?

I did not pay any income tax and do not own a house. It sounds like no return or payment is accurate for my situation. First full year of retirement so I was not sure. I’ll will double check my SS and pension forms to make sure there was no Illinois tax with held. Thanks
